Ben, Bryce and the TCP/EW team should be proud of their willingness to explore the more complex and difficult money management topics. Bringing the topics of financial abuse and coercive control to the fore is powerful and necessary. It is my hope that listeners who don’t recognise their financial behaviours are inappropriately controlling may have a changed perspective after hearing this episode. When you are part of a family unit, a selfish money mindset is not reasonable or appropriate.
Most importantly, through a story like Amanda’s I hope the listeners who’s finances are controlled can rise up, find their worth and stand for equality. 1800RESPECT is the national family violence support and referral service. Help is available.

I obtained the hard copy and also the audio copy of the book (like to refer back to pages in the hard copy as I read). I absolutely love the Audio book. I listen to it every morning and evening as I drive to and from work. I will be listening to it over again once I finished to further cement the advice in my head. I love that you are reading it yourselves and love the discussions between you that comes at the end of every chapter. It is all very relatable so far. I am 54 so looking at building wealth for the next 12 years and into retirement and also setting up building my dream country cottage (that I am NOT waiting on retirement to enjoy). I have already joined MOORR and impatiently waiting to get my free consultation with Empower as I am keen to get started. Will be purchasing your other book Make Money Simple Again next as I have always lived pay to pay and am already making changes for the better.

I have loved the podcasts and only just found out about Property Couch through The Herald Sun a couple of weeks ago. I have listened to the first 46 episodes very quickly- a couple of hundred to go!! Really enjoyed the masterclass and would highly recommend anybody having a watch if you are as I was, unsure/nervous about making the decision of how or when to start and always talking my way out of it because I have something coming up. I have used the Moorr platform since the early days and I think the structure behind it is excellent. It has been the first time I have implemented a budget idea that I could ‘sell’ to my family; it also helps spot the areas you are spending subconsciously while allowing freedom to splurge. The underpinning approach is not dissimilar to barefoot (also very sound), but I have found the app/website helps me manage bills and competing priorities really well. The latest updates are excellent. Much appreciated.

Early into using this app, mainly the desktop platform, and all I can say is that I can not believe this is a free platform! I was about to pay $15 per month for a similar system (that has a few extra features) until I found this. There is so much value and insight in a free product, including the knowledge centre. It’s absolutely awesome.
