270 | How To Recover When You’ve Lost Everything – Chat with NRL Star Matt Srama and Jaemin Frazer

“The aim of the game is to learn how to fill your own cup… to do the adult work.”Jaemin Frazer

Matt Srama lost everything. But then he did something that would turn this loss into a profound learning experience. And his life has dramatically changed as a result.

The question for you is… have you ever wanted to change something in your life, but found yourself getting in your own way? Maybe you keep repeating the same bad habits that are interfering with the result you really want. Or maybe you’re shackled to the same story that’s been running your life for a very long time, keeping you stuck, perhaps without you even realising what’s happening!!

Well folks, today’s exclusive episode is all about how to become the hero in your own story and finally do the “adult work” you need in order to live the life you truly imagined for yourself & recover from ANY set back. And we have not one, but TWO very special guests in with a very candid interview to reveal the framework folks need to create LASTING positive change… and ditch any self-fulfilling prophecies, insecurities or setbacks that could be standing in the way of real success!

Joining us today are two “repeat offenders” on the Couch and names you might already recognise…. retired professional NRL rugby league player for the Gold Coast Titans, Matt Srama (Episode 254) AND one of Australia’s leading Life Coaches and Founder of The Insecurity Project  — and Bryce’s own personal development coach — Jaemin Frazer (Episode 179).

Here’s the deal… Matt’s ridden the cycle of being a professional athlete – the excitement of being drafted, the excitement of earning good money, the excitement of having a huge crowd cheering for him and his teammates… and then felt the complete reverse of this … the shattering disappointment of a promising career cut short due to injury. And so, ‘cos we’re a big fan of the frameworks Jaemin teaches about getting through insecurity, Bryce saw an opportunity to chat to them both today and get a unique perspective that we don’t hear about too often…

Report: Is My Property Portfolio Enough?

Are you already an experienced property investor? If so, maybe you’re wondering if you need to buy more properties to build up your portfolio and create the passive income you’re chasing? Or maybe you have one or two investment properties under your belt, but aren’t sure what strategic step to take next? Or perhaps you’re even floating the idea of investing through a self-managed superfund, but aren’t sure if it’s a suitable option for you?

Wherever you’re at, as an experienced investor it can be challenging to way up how your current portfolio is performing, how often to review your properties or even to know if you need to continue investing, especially given the fact that you don’t want to risk all of the hard work and effort you’ve already put in.

And as experienced investors ourselves, we get it.

242 | Proof That You Can Get on the Property Ladder AND Invest in Property in Your 20s – Chat with Courtney Te’ray

Let’s face it. There’s a lot of millennials and first home buyers among us who are frustrated and struggling to get onto the property ladder. And we don’t blame them!

It’s hard work hauling yourself up on that first rung… and it can seriously knock you around, especially if your friends are out “brunching” and you’re choosing to stay home again and… save more money.

Are we right? Believe us… we feel ya, folks! If you’re just starting out, often times it can seem like you’re making snail-pace progress, so much so that it becomes all-too-easy to believe there’s zero point to your efforts at all. So, guess what?? We’ve got your back… ‘cos you’re actually NOT alone and, as a matter of fact, it pays (quite literally) to check in with someone you can relate to who has been exactly where you are, has seen success and can help you get over the line (or at least know that, yes, it IS possible!).

That’s why we’ve got Courtney Te’ray on The Couch today!!

And at 28, it would be easy to confuse Courtney as a stereotypical millennial — you know, “smashed avo”… “living in the now”… and “delayed gratification” a WORLD away — BUT in actual fact… Courtney is ANYTHING BUT this….

She and her partner Aaron have been slowing chipping at their own property portfolio and putting into practice

“If it’s meant to be… it’s up to be”. And the thing you might find a lot of comfort in, is they’ve invested in property on ordinary incomes — to give you an idea, Courtney has NEVER earned more than $60K while building up this Property Portfolio… Impressive, right?! Want to know how she did it? And how thinking (and acting) differently can ultimately set up your future for life?? And if you’d like to learn more about her backstory, check out her video here!

Psst… you DON’T need to be in your twenties to take some #inspo from this episode!!

209 | Veronica Morgan – From the Coalface of the Sydney Property Market

With 2019 officially off the ground, we thought we’d organise a reunion with our good friend “Ronnie”…  A.K.A the one and only Veronica Morgan, who is ABSOLUTELY qualified to give you the heads up on how to find an investment grade asset in this Buyer’s Market!

( Shhhh… don’t tell her we called her “Ronnie” here 😉 )

Folks, if you’ve been listening to us for a little while now, it’ll come as no surprise that Veronica Morgan was Bryce’s co-host back in the days of Location, Location, Location Australia and Relocation, Relocation on Foxtel’s Lifestyle Channel! Yep, you might have heard her previous eps on the Couch — Episode 76 | Building a property portfolio after the boom  and Episode 161 | How to Buy Property Like a Pro!

But this (and the friendly banter) is only half of the reason we love listening to what Veronica has to say about the Aus. Property Market — put simply: she’s an ace Buyers Agent on the grounds in the Sydney market!! Which makes total sense as the Founder and Principal of Good Deeds Property Buyers, a Buyers Agency specialising in the Sydney market! Plus, Veronica’s also a QPIA, a clever property investor and key note speaker and industry writer!

Oh, and a little birdie told us she has her OWN property podcast, The Elephant in the Room, which see co-hosts with Chris Bates!

So if someone knows the Sydney market, it’s Veronica!

Before we crack open the can of gold, just a quick shout out that Bryce’s brand new show Escape from the City AIRS TONIGHT!! So if you’re around, flick on ABC at 7:30PM!!
